New Years Day Car Show at The Pheonix Inn 2024

Here is a small selection of pictures I took at the annual NYD meet. As you can see a fantastic turn out once again. What car show has a vintage ERF dumper, a Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary, Ferrari Dino 246 GT and a Renault 5 Turbo 1 all on the same road?! Also, a change for me as it was the first time I took my car to this event (1998 Peugeot 106 Rallye S2) rather than a retro Raleigh. I had bought the car at the end of Summer 2023 and was very proud to show it at the meet! Favourites are undecidable, but I can never stop staring at my good friends Porsche 911 2.7 RS. It really is a stunner. Another rarity, a concours restored Ford Escort Mk3 Gartrac G6. One of approximately 30 ever made. It was a road car built by Ford, following the rallying success of the G3 & G4 Escorts. In addition to rarities, a fine looking Austin Metro. Completely standard and original time warp condition. I love these, maybe a bit biased as I used to own a 1987 MG Metro, but very cool to see, especially in such great condition.
