This 30 day period has gone by and I am back at Southside again. This time on the concours restored Chopper SE. Now, I haven’t ridden this bike for more than a couple meters, so today I really ran it in, taking it all round Wimbledon rather than just the common. For an SE, it rides very well!

It seems that I live at Southside Common! Another fantastic turn out this month, this time on the 1984 Super Burner Mk2. It was beautiful weather too which warranted for a cycle around Wimbledon afterwards.

This year I have consistently been at Southside pretty much every month. For me, it is the best car gathering you can go to. Not only does it have a great standard of cars, but also many of my new and old friends go, which makes for the perfect morning!

Today I decided to take the 1986 Raleigh Mag Burner custom up to Wimbledon to see what classics I could find. There were lots of gems as usual, but how cool to see a South African VW Golf MK1 Citi!

The most 80s meet I have found myself at! This month at Southside, I took my 1988 Raleigh Mag Burner and stumbled upon E30 M3s, Testarossas and Countachs!

What a great morning! Here I am standing proud with my yellow Mk1 next to my good friend Roy’s Bond Bug. If only I had my Targa Mustard Mk1 then. This was my favourite moment of this months Southside, even with all the other precious metal parked up!

In this months of Wimbledon Southside, I managed to find the perfect backdrop for my beloved Raleigh Tuff Burner. By complete surprise, this highly original Giallo Fly Ferrari Testarossa and the pretty fog laying on Wimbledon Common.

I am back again at the traditional NYD meet. This time with a Raleigh Burner and a rain coat of course! Fortunately, the rain didn’t put anyone off!

Goodwood Revival is highly anticipated as the UK’s largest classic car guru event. It involves racing, fashion shows, auctioneering and the unforgettable spitfires flying all day. These are just a few key affairs which make this event one of my favourites of the year.

Another splendid month at Wimbledon for the Southside meet. This time an even crazier turn out of wheels, including my Golden Yellow Mk1 Chopper.

Wimbledon Southside. My favourite car meet all round. Technically, it is not actually a formal car meet. It is just a meeting of car enthusiasts which makes it not only free of charge, but also a very relaxing way to unwind with friends and like minded enthusiasts.

You will know the tradition by now! It is the NYD Meet at The Phoenix Inn, where there is once again and incredible, eclectic mix of cars!

Lets take a stroll round the Goodwood Revival 2023 classic car parking area. There may not be any Raleigh Choppers featured in here, but look at the precious metal. It was a beautiful day and a brilliant turnout of cars.

A bit different to the usual gallery with one of my bikes as the showcase, here we go back to June 2023 where my great friends invited me to come along to the annual HAC Concours event in Central London. It was a beautiful day and we didn’t go by train. No, we went in the 1973 Porsche 911 2.7 RS and 1992 Porsche 964 RS N/GT!

On a damp March morning, I decided to take my recently acquired 1973 Raleigh Chopper Pinky 5 speed to meet up with a few friends at Blackbushe Airport. Set for some cool photos!

In June 2022, came the annual Sandford Springs air cooled car show. Predominantly classic Porsche and Volkswagens, I was very kindly invited to display my 1970 Mk1 Chopper in the ‘Icon display’. I might have stole the show again! This was the first show on my Golden Yellow Mk1 and it was great to hear about all the stories and memories that people have with the Chopper.

On NYD 2022, I settled on taking my beloved 1975 Mk2 Chopper to the annual local car show. It sure stole the show!
