Wimbledon Southside Car Meet. June 2025

Welcome to yet another gallery of my favourites taken from the monthly Southside meet. This time, I took along the 1988 Raleigh Mag Burner which surprisingly I sold at the meet! It felt very strange coming home empty handed, but the Burner has gone to a fantastic new home and it gives me the chance to acquire another for the collection! This months turnout was a little moody in terms of weather but WOW, I have never seen such a cool turnout at this meet. A genuine Countach 5000S, Testarossa, Mk1 Golf GTi, E30 M3, Porsche 911 Turbo Targa and a Ford Capri 3.0S. That has to be the most iconic gathering of 80s cars there are. Not to mention the super iconic Silver Birch Aston Martin DB5 with a very suiting number plate. I also loved the attitude taken by a local classic car dealer of parking his Ferrari Daytona Spider in a bush because there weren’t any spaces left. That’s a £2.5 million car parked on the verge of a bush! Unbelievable! It would take a lot to beat this months Southside, but I wouldn’t put anything against it!
