New Years Day Car Show at The Phoenix Inn 2022

On NYD of 2022, I brought my 1975 Infra Red Mk2 to a local classic car show. The tradition every year, is that the A30 closes in the morning, just so everyone can park their classic car on the road for the show. It was one of the first shows I had brought the Chopper to, as I had acquired it in late 2021. It was my first ‘proper Chopper’ with my previous being a Mk3; a huge upgrade and I kept that bike for a good two years! It had a beautiful older restoration (in the early 00s) however only NOS parts were used, which is why it looks so factory correct. It rode beautifully everywhere and always gathered a lot of attention. The Chopper being a 75’ fitted in very well with many cars at the show, including a very rare BMW 2002 Turbo, Ford Escort RS1600 Mk1 and a petite Alfa Romeo 2000 GTV. As always, the show is very popular and beholds many rare cars each year. My friend John brought down his stunning Mercedes-Benz 280SL Pagoda. He has owned that car for 10+ years! The Renault 5 Turbo 1 was definitely a surprise too!
